On the Island of Discarded Women, we’re all about speaking up, speaking out and amplifying women’s voices through personal storytelling, social commentary, original music, and inspiring guest conversations.
Each show, Sue is joined by a diverse, all-female cast of talented actor/storytellers, passionate singer/songwriters and empowering special guests for “the conversation.” Past special guests have included Civil Rights leaders, Transgender trailblazers, Women’s Rights activists, Award-winning Authors, veteran Journalists and many more!

Sue Scott is a veteran stage and voice-over actor, who for 24 years was the female cast member on the public radio show A Prairie Home Companion. After PHC, Sue climbed back on stage in a variety of theater roles in the Twin Cities, but is now thoroughly immersed and totally engaged in producing Island of Discarded Women!
